Marketing Specialist

Glenco is a market leading electrical, air conditioning, and security services business. This dynamic, expansive, and growing business is currently seeking a part-time experienced Marketing Specialist to join the team, reporting directly to the Company owners.


Your day to day responsibilities will include;

  • Develop a marketing plan in line with Glenco’s strategic business objectives
  • Develop marketing materials (print and digital) to support sales & marketing activities
  • Develop and execute social media strategies
  • Manage the Glenco website including managing digital activities such as SEO and PPC working closely with an external agency
  • Seek out and manage all PR initiatives for the business including writing and submitting business award entries
  • Produce engaging content including EDMs, blogs, social posts, and video
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, key customers & internal stakeholders
  • Manage and build out marketing automation to nurture leads from attract to sell to wow, plugging any leaks in the conversion funnel
  • Manage brand reputation and brand assets
  • Keep brand consistent and aligned across multiple print and digital platforms
  • Report on marketing analytics including ROI from campaigns and promotions


Skills and Experience Required


This role is well suited to a marketing and/or communications professional with 2-3 years’ experience in a similar environment. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, passionate and creative, with a flair for developing innovative and engaging marketing concepts and activities.


  • 2-3 years’ experience in marketing coordination role
  • B2C and B2B experience
  • Relevant qualifications
  • An interest in working in the trades industry
  • WordPress, Adobe Creative cloud and Infusionsoft experience will be well regarded
  • Commercially focused
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Negotiation and organisational skills, working to tight deadlines, managing multiple projects at once
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive and can-do attitude

Customer Service & Sales Support

Glenco is a market leading electrical and air conditioning services business. This dynamic, expansive, and growing business is currently seeking a full-time experienced Customer Service & Sales Support professional to join our friendly team. This role reports to the Operations Manager.


This is an exciting role for someone who thrives on customer engagement and experience. The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, high attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills and a desire to deliver results and form positive relationships in a team-based culture.


Your day to day responsibilities will include;

  • Manage customer/job specific issues ensuring a positive outcome
  • Manage all customer feedback (positive and negative) towards a win-win outcome
  • Manage all online (Facebook/Google/website) reviews and respond in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify and implement customer experience initiatives to improve our engagement and NPS ratings
  • Discuss pricing and terms with customers
  • Organise customer events and gifts as required
  • Communicate positive feedback internally to teams
  • Effectively onboard new customers

  • Experience working in the trade industry would be highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience in job management system (SimPro) preferred not essential
  • Skilled in Excel and Word processing software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle competing priorities

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the electrical trade and safe work practices
